PTCBR is a membership-driven organisation. The greater our numbers, the more influence we can have on transport and planning in Canberra.
If you are interested in public transport in the Canberra region, please consider becoming a member:
- You will have voting rights at our Annual General Meeting.
- You will have access to members-only events including public transport depot tours, planning events, and social events.
- You will have access to our PTCBR Members Forum on Facebook.
- You will be invited to contribute to submissions, projects, articles, and other work produced by PTCBR.
- You can put forward ideas for initiatives you would like to undertake under the PTCBR name – this might be a dedicated advocacy effort towards a particular issue, a piece of research, an article for our website, or something else relevant and useful for public transport advocacy in Canberra.
- Your membership fee assists in paying the necessary costs to run PTCBR, including website hosting, our Google account (email and file storage), insurance, and room hire.
Membership Period
Membership covers a 12 month period from June to June. If you join now, you will have membership until June 2026.
Fees
- $20 per year – general membership fee
- $10 per year – membership fee for students and concession card holders

Please be aware that your membership of PTCBR is not official until it has been approved at a PTCBR committee meeting.
