There are more ways to travel out of Canberra and around the Capital Region than you’d think.

In addition to the 3x daily train between Sydney and Canberra, NSW TrainLink also offers daily coach services to Eden, Bombala, Wagga Wagga, Cootamundra and Goulburn, with connecting services across all of NSW.

V/Line offers 2 daily services connecting to Melbourne trains: one via Albury, and the other via Bombala and the Gippsland coast.

Greyhound come and go in the Canberra market, but they currently offer a daily service to Sydney and Melbourne respectively.

Murrays runs an excellent express coach service between Canberra, Sydney Airport and Sydney Central, leaving every hour between 6am and 6pm, with a 1am service for those trying to catch an early flight. But don’t forget their daily services to Wollongong and the South Coast!

CDC is Queanbeyan’s local bus service, with regular services all day between Queanbeyan and Canberra. They also provide express commuter services to Yass, Bungendore and Googong.

For $30, Rixons offer an on-demand shuttle between Canberra and your doorstep on the South Coast.
