PTCBR invites you to the 2024 ACT Election Transport Policy Forum!

Join us to talk all things transport in the lead-up to this year’s ACT election, which will be held on 19 October 2024.

We are pleased to be joined by a panel of spokespeople from the three major parties to discuss the key transport policies that will be presenting in the upcoming election. Our speakers will deliver a short outline of their party’s transport policy, followed by a Q&A session in which members of the public can put their questions to the panel.

This is a fantastic opportunity to talk directly with the people seeking your vote this October. Transport is an extremely important topic to many Canberrans and has featured heavily in recent ACT elections. We anticipate this election will be no different!

We welcome all members of the community to come and discuss transport in the context of the election and connect with others who care about how we get around our city, now and into the future.

While we are not charging for entry, we would be grateful for a donation of any size to help us cover venue hire costs – if you can help, choose the “Donation” option as well as a General Admission ticket at the checkout and contribute what you can.

Directions: We strongly encourage attendees to travel by public transport, to cycle, or to walk to the event. The Sydney Building is easily reached by public transport – it is located next to the City bus interchange and the Alinga Street light rail terminus. Doors open at 5:40pm. The room will have a bar with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase until 9pm.
