The public exhibition period for the Light Rail Stage 2B Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has just concluded. This is an important step in the approvals process for the project, and PTCBR members made the most of the long engagement period – visiting multiple drop-in info sessions, checking out all the documents both online and in hard copy at libraries around the city, and going along to a community forum held by Infrastructure Canberra. We’re grateful that the project team was very happy to answer all our questions and get deep into the details with us!
The PTCBR committee held three brainstorming sessions for members to talk about what’s been proposed – what we like, what we think needs more attention, and what we’re not so keen on. Thank you to all members who got involved in forming our association’s submission, and who wrote and submitted your own.
